Genre: sci-fi psychological thriller

Premiere date: 21st February 2024

Release: Apple TV+

The first space series to watch in March has eight episodes. It was crafted by Peter Harness and inspired by Sean Jablonski’s concept. It stars Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, Henry David, William Catlett, and Barbara Sukowa.

The plot of the series revolves around the return of the Swedish astronaut Joe to Earth from the International Space Station. Returning home, Joe discovers that it is not what she left behind when she went on a space trip. Some parts of her life are confused, and some are completely missing.

The series clearly alludes to Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. According to this theory, at the moment of determining the quantum state of any particle, not one random, but all possible variants of events are realized at once. But each of them falls into its own separate universe. In this way, our reality is constantly branching out and there are an infinite number of its variations. In addition, the series expresses the idea that different people can see different things even in already processed experimental data. This is explained not by their psychological state, but by the fact that the world really is different, depending on who is “looking” at it.

So what universe has Jo entered and will she be able to find the missing pieces of her life? If you are a fan of mystery and cosmic mysteries, you should definitely watch this series!
