New Shepard

New Shepard is the name given to Blue Origin’s reusable space vehicle – named after the first American in space, Alan Shepard.

Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin have long been aiming to send passengers into space as their goal to become a market leader in  space tourism. The New Shepard is their launch vehicle set out to achieve this.

The final stage of the New Shepard is the passenger module, designed to accommodate six people to just beyond the Karman line (the official beginning of space).
