Firefly Aerospace

Firefly Aerospace is an American Rocket manufacturer based in Texas, founded in 2014 and was then acquired in 2017 by Noosphere Ventures.

Their Alpha rocket is scheduled to launch in 2021.

The company has already shown some very significant progress and in 2021 was awarded several NASA contracts worth over $93m. The NASA contracts will be part of their moon-based Artemis programme.

Firefly also have a launch pad in Florida where they intend to perform their first launch of the Alpha rocket.
