Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab is a private aerospace company with headquarters in California. Its most famous product is a lightweight suborbital carrier Electron with component parts made on 3D printers. Since a whole rocket can be manufactured in 12 hours, it offers a highly affordable orbital launch solution of approximately $6 million per single launch. Electron can carry small satellites and CubeSats.

Rocket Lab’s latest development, Ātea, is a suborbital vehicle that implements the same environmentally-safe and budget-wise principles. This sustainability attracted NASA’s attention in 2018 and has resulted in a long term collaboration.
