Copenhagen Suborbitals

Copenhagen Suborbitals is the most well-known amateur-funded company in the space sector. To top that off, this whole venture had been crowd-funded back since 2008. Despite this, the company has already managed to fly six of their rockets into space.

Copenhagen Suborbitals is also the only company that launches its amateur-built vehicles from a special site in international waters. Their small but dedicated team includes plenty of skilled enthusiasts, and absolutely all solutions are designed and engineered in Denmark.

Since 2013, Copenhagen Suborbitals has been working on the development of a guidance system, and its latest rocket Nexø II successfully launched in 2008.

The group was founded by Kristian Von Bengtson and Peter Madsen.
