Centropy PR Selected for Integrated Comms by Shetland Space Centre
15th Jul 2020Centropy PR will provide integrated communication services to Shetland Space Centre after a successful pitch. The Space Centre is a new proposed launch site to be located on the UK’s Shetland Isles.
Centro PR was established in 2017 by Steve George-Hilley, former board director at Hotwire. The agency will handle the Space Center’s digital campaigns, social media, and other media campaigns. The Space Centre was recently boosted by a £2m in financial support and plans to begin full ground operations and satellite launch facilities by late 2021. Shetland Space Centre will collect satellite data and offer launch and ground services to space companies.

Frank Strang, the Shetland Space Centre’s CEO, said: “We were seeking an energetic comms agency to help boost our profile and drive awareness of the Shetland brand within the UK space industry and beyond.
