Centropy PR will provide integrated communication services to Shetland Space Centre after a successful pitch. The Space Centre is a new proposed launch site to be located on the UK’s Shetland Isles.

Centro PR was established in 2017 by Steve George-Hilley, former board director at Hotwire. The agency will handle the Space Center’s digital campaigns, social media, and other media campaigns. The Space Centre was recently boosted by a £2m in financial support and plans to begin full ground operations and satellite launch facilities by late 2021. Shetland Space Centre will collect satellite data and offer launch and ground services to space companies.

Centropy PR is the Best Choice for Shetland Space Centre

Frank Strang, the Shetland Space Centre’s CEO, said: “We were seeking an energetic comms agency to help boost our profile and drive awareness of the Shetland brand within the UK space industry and beyond. The Centropy team demonstrated a proactive approach to PR, media connections, and creative thinking.”

George-Hilley, the founder of Centropy PR, added: “We’re very proud to support a leading light in the UK’s fast-growing space industry. SSC has plans to create jobs, drive much-needed economic growth, and put Britain on the map in a new age of space exploration.”

Shetland Space Centre also plans to work with local agency, Mantra.
