Skyrora CEO Volodymyr Levykin has posted a letter on the official company website. The announcement congratulates the company team on an eventful first quarter of the year and empathizes the main milestones to be achieved in the nearest future.

As Skyrora CEO, Volodymyr Levykin states in his open letter, the company has been “immensely privileged” to start the year on such a positive note. Just recently, Skyrora received three million euros from the ESA as part of the agency’s Boost! initiative. This money will speed up the development of Skyrora XL suborbital vehicle and should make the company launch-ready by 2022. As a reminder, Skyrora hopes to launch from the vertical UK spaceport that might be commissioned in the near future.

Volodymyr Levykin adds that his team is proud to contribute its share to the UK space industry’s development and hopes that the country will soon become a sovereign space nation. The company innovations focus on green technologies and sustainable space use. Here, Levykin emphasizes that their latest development, Space Tug, has reached the highest environmental standards and already passed a series of successful tests.
