A huge asteroid will pass by Earth on Wednesday… 3.9 million miles away
28th Apr 2020This Wednesday (29th April 2020) Asteroid 1998 OR2 will pass by our planet. However, it will retain a safe distance of 3.9 million miles.
Although hilariously, a number of national newspaper headlines suggest the asteroid would “skim earth” with others referring to it as “potentially hazardous”. The reality is that it poses absolutely no danger to planet earth at all. And 3.9 million miles is a very safe distance away.
