Aurora Display Over Netherlands
Once again, the Northern Lights lit up the skies across several corners of our planet last week. Raymond Kamstra (@kamstra_raymond) took these stunning photos on 4-5 April at the island of Terschelling.

These amazing space images from last week capture the aurora borealis, the Milky Way, and glowing bioluminescent waves all in one frame. What a lucky moment!

A New Comet Graces The Skies
This stunning image was captured on 6 April by Michael Jäger and Gerald Rhemann, reveals the newly brightened comet SWAN25F. The shot beautifully highlights the comet’s vivid tail and growing brightness.

A Perfect Lunar Flyby
On 6 April, astrophotographer Mary McIntyre (@Spicey_Spiney) captured a stunning moment as a UPS Boeing 747 soared across the face of the Moon. Flying at 39,000 feet on its route from Louisville to Cologne (Flight UPS203), the aircraft appeared in perfect silhouette against the lunar surface.

A Spin Through The Stars
In this mesmerizing composite by StillPho toMalone, 200 exposures of 30 seconds each were stacked to create a stunning star trail image.

A Grand Spiral In Ursa Major
This stunning Liviu Lazar image features Messier 101, also known as the Pinwheel Galaxy. Located around 22.8 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major, this face-on spiral galaxy spans a whopping 170,000 light-years, making it 70% larger than our Milky Way!
