The Moon sculpture by Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon will be on display at the Cathedral of the Isle of Man in a few days. This magnificent piece of artwork will be available for public viewing at the cathedral from 9 February to 2 March 2025.

The Moon Sculpture To Give Visitors A Closer View Of The Celestial Body

Following its visit to over 40 countries around the world, the Museum of the Moon sculpture is heading to the Isle of Man. This piece of artwork shows what the Moon looks like by using detailed NASA imagery of the Moon.

By doing this Luke Jerram was able to create a real-life sculpture of the Moon for display in various locations around the world. Countries like China, the US, India, and so many more have been hosts to this work of art intriguing space and art lovers alike.

From 9 February to 2 March 2025, the Cathedral Isle of Man will host this impressive structure. The Moon sculpture by Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon will be on display inside the recently refurbished cathedral.

Those coming to see the sculpture will be able to do so daily between 09:00 to 18:00 GMT. Rosemary Clarke, a lay preacher at the Cathedral Isle of Man points out that various events to hold in the cathedral will take place under the lit-up sculpture.

Accompanying the presence of the Moon Sculpture will be sound compositions by BAFTA and Dan Jones. This will further elevate the experience of viewers as they absorb sounds from the Ivor Novello award-winning composer.
