Telespazio And Altec Are Bringing Starlink Internet To Argentina’s Remote Areas

Telespazio announced on 9 September that it has partnered with Altec, a local technology and communications solutions company, to deliver satellite connectivity to Argentina. This partnership will facilitate the deployment of the Starlink network, which is renowned for delivering high-speed internet to regions with minimal or no infrastructure.

Starlink Internet For Schools Of Patagonia

The initiative aims to provide Starlink satellite internet to schools and municipal offices in the province of Río Negro, Patagonia.

“Our collaboration with Telespazio underscores our commitment to improving connectivity in areas that need it most,” commented  President of Altec Luis Ayestaran. “Starlink technology is ideal for overcoming infrastructure barriers and providing reliable, high-quality internet service. We are eager to see the positive impact it will have on education and municipal services in Río Negro.”

Access To Educational Tools

The project will begin by installing equipment in selected schools and government offices. Initially, this setup will cover a few locations, with plans to expand to more sites later. By using Starlink, users will gain access to online educational tools. Additionally, it will enhance communication and provide essential digital services.
