Any Danger For People?
Both the residents of the Philippines and the rest of the people in all corners of the Earth can remain calm. Fortunately, this space rock poses no danger to us.
Astronomers suggest the asteroid would fall into the sea. But it is more likely to burn up in the atmosphere, potentially glowing as brightly as the moon in the night sky. However, a few small fragments might make it to the ground.
It is important to mention that this is only the ninth time in history that a celestial body has been detected in advance before its impact on Earth.
