Lagoon And Trifid Nebulae By Berengar Von Ow Astrophotography

“Summer targets: Lagoon and Trifid nebulae

The Milky Way is at its densest near Sagittarius, as this is where the Galactic Center lies. As a result, Sagittarius contains many star clusters and nebulae – Lagoon and Trifid are two of those nebulae,” the photographer has commented on his artwork.

NGC 7635 Bubble Nebula By Lino Benz

“NGC 7635 (sometimes known as the Bubble Nebula or C 11) is a diffuse nebula visible in the constellation Cassiopeia, towards the border with Cepheus. This is an HII region, at whose southern vertex there is an empty structure, caused by the pressure of the radiation of a blue central star (spectral class O), SAO 20575, of ninth magnitude, whose stellar wind reaches 2000 km /s, it is a blue giant, which is also responsible for the ionization of the nebula, which emits its own light. Its distance from the Sun is estimated at 11,000 light-years. SW Newton 200/1000 PDS @950 TS reducer telescope, acquisition Canon 1100d mod. full spectrum, phd2 guide with Asi 224, mont.
