Scottish Space Tech Company R3-IoT Announces Hire of Three New Vice Presidents

Scottish Space tech firm, R3-IoT, has announced the hire of three new vice presidents in a large-scale expansion of the company. The tech firm, which supplies satellite infrastructure and data to third parties, has also relocated to new premises in Glasgow as part of this up-scaling overhaul. Several promotions and upper-level hires have also taken place across the firm. The Scottish space tech company received a seed investment of over £3 million in 2021 and was the winner of the OneWeb Innovation Challenge.

New Vice Presidents Bring Dynamic Skillset to Scottish Space Company

Among R3-IoT’s new hires, Sarah McLaughlin joins the team as the new vice president for marketing. With prior experience working for Tesco Bank and Glasgow Caledonian University, McLaughlin will head up a new marketing team to help expand the company’s reach as it grows. McLaughlin is also a chair for gender diversity in Scotland’s Digital Economy Skills Group. The company has also developed a global business development group that will be headed up by the new vice president for sales, David Falkingham. Falkingham will specialise in developing entry points into the North American market for the Scottish space tech firm.

Scottish Space Company Hires New Vice President of Operations

As well as expanding its marketing and sales team, the Scottish space firm has also hired Evelyn Walker as the new vice president of operations. Walker’s previous experience includes work for the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. She has also helped numerous companies with large-scale expansions and growth development strategies. Chief executive of R3-IoT, Allan Cannon, has expressed his excitement about these three new hires and hopes their combined experience will take this Scottish space firm to new heights.
