Glasgow Geared Up for Scottish Space Carnival
17th Feb 2022Plans Underway for Glasgow Space Carnival in March
Plans are underway for a Glasgow-based space carnival that will take place on the city’s Silverburn Green this March. The Galactic Carnival will feature a great range of rides, stalls, and food vendors for a thrilling outdoor festival to mark the Easter break. Visitors will be able to purchase a wristband that gives them four hours of unlimited rides in the park. The Scotland space event hopes to emulate the successful Spooktacular event, which was held in October 2021.
Scotland Space Carnival Organised by Global Events & Attractions
The events company Global Events & Attractions, which organised last year’s Spooktacular Glasgow Festival, is also in charge of hosting this Easter’s Galactic space carnival. The event will be held from 25th of March until the 18th of April, giving festivalgoers plenty of time to experience all there is on offer. The company has cited that its aim is to bring people together outdoors after the long lockdowns imposed during the global pandemic. The space carnival is a great opportunity for families and friends to get together and have fun making memories at a vibrant, outdoor event.
14 Rides Currently Confirmed for Glasgow Space Carnival
So far, 14 carnival rides have been confirmed for the upcoming Glasgow space festival. More rides will also be added to this list as time goes on. The outdoor space carnival will feature classic fairground rides, such as Teacups, Waltzers, Dodgems, Bungee Trampolines, and much more. The carnival will also host a Festival Wheel, which will give visitors an incredible view over the city. There will also be several autism-friendly sessions on 31st March and on 4th April, helping to ensure that the Glasgow Space Carnival is an event that everyone can enjoy.
