Skyrora CEO Volodymyr Levykin is Announced As Finalist in EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Awards

EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 has announced its list of Scottish finalists for the award, including Skyrora CEO and founder Volodymyr Levykin. The award aims to showcase entrepreneurial excellence and runs programs in over 145 cities in 60 different countries. Levykin and his Skyrora firm are producing innovative satellite launch technology solutions with the aim of becoming the UK’s leading commercial provider of space access.

Throughout June, the panel will meet virtually to decide on the winners from each region. The selected candidates will go on to represent their region at a nationwide level in October, with the overall EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 winner for the UK to be announced in November. This winner will represent the UK at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2022 against other national finalists from around the globe.

EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Flourishes despite Pandemic

The chief sponsor for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 UK is Julius Baer International Limited. Its CEO David Durlacher spoke about how impressed he was with the entrepreneurism displayed by candidates like Volodymyr Levykin and the other finalists, especially in the face of the logistical and economic challenges presented by the pandemic: “A huge congratulations to those who have made it through to be finalists – no easy feat amongst such tough competition.”
